Red Carnation FlowersRed Carnation Flowers

Red carnations are the flowers of Mother’s Day. If one’s mother is alive children wear these flowers out of love and respect for their mother. Also, by presenting one’s mother with a red carnation bouquet you are expressing your high regard and respect for her. Red carnations come in darker shades of red, and also lighter shades. Whereas light red carnations are an expression of admiration, dark red carnations convey feelings of love and respect. It is no wonder these flowers are the Mother’s Day flowers considering their rich beauty and deep meanings.
